Biography

Zhai Hongyu: Practicing at Beijing Meilai Medical Aesthetic Hospital; Discipline Leader in Injectable Rejuvenation and Chairman of the Clinical Development Committee for North China, Meilai Group. With a plastic surgery background from a public tertiary Class A hospital, he has 31 years of clinical experience in plastic surgery and more than 30,000 total cases; he studied under Chinese plastic surgery pioneers such as Zhang Tisheng, Kong Fanhu, and Song Yeguang, and has undertaken further study and academic exchanges in Europe and the United States, Japan and South Korea, and Hong Kong on multiple occasions.
He has published more than 30 academic papers and holds an invention patent for “New Application Technology for Skin and Soft Tissue Expanders”; he founded the Four-Dimensional Support Injection System and Biphasic Carrier Injection Technology, which have been included in the industry technical white paper as reference templates.
He is an officially certified training instructor for multiple injectable materials, including Juvederm, Restylane, Artecoll, Ellansé, Ruyan Angel, and Bonita, and is responsible for technical training of physicians in the field.
